Registering to vote in California is made simple. To qualify to register you must be:
A United States citizen
18 years old or older on Election Day.
You can register online by filling out the following form obtain a paper voter registration application, you can pick one up at your county elections office, library, Department of Motor Vehicles offices, or U.S. post office.
VOTE BY MAIL
Did you know you can vote right from the comfort of your own home? Click here to sign up to vote by mail. You will receive your ballot in the mail at least 3 weeks before the election.
IMPORTANT: If you are registered as “No Party Preference” and vote-by-mail, you will NOT receive the ballot for the California Democratic Presidential Primary.
